Marcy Rost, LPC
Marcy is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a deep passion for supporting individuals as they face life’s challenges and transitions. Bringing over 18 years of clinical experience to her work, Marcy specializes in assisting clients who are navigating issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, and personal growth.
Marcy holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Kutztown University and a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Shippensburg University.
Well-known for her warm and nonjudgmental approach, Marcy is dedicated to creating a safe therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process and is committed to tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs, goals, and cultural backgrounds of each individual. Marcy has personally experienced the benefits of counseling through life’s challenges and is passionate about helping people experience their own healing and growth. Her goal is to work with individuals to create the meaningful change they desire for their lives.
In addition to her core work with adults, Marcy has extensive experience working with families, couples, and groups. She has worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, non-profits, and schools.
Outside of the therapy room, Marcy values time with her family and enjoys being an active part of her grandchildren’s lives. She also enjoys travelling, being outdoors, and tries to walk daily. One of her favorite places is the beach. When at home, she loves spending time with her husband and his retirement project of cultivating bonsai trees. She values balance, connection, and authenticity in both her personal and professional life.
