Our Services

Resolute Counseling offers outpatient therapy for individuals, couples, and families. In addition, we provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for individuals.

Our therapy appointments are typically 45 – 60 minutes in length.  Medication management appointments vary in length but are typically 15-30 minutes. Resolute Counseling is an in-network provider through many health insurance plans, but we also offer a comparable out-of-pocket cost for people choosing not to use their insurance or for out-of-network rates.  The cost for self-pay sessions (people not using insurance) is based on our Fee Schedule.  Please click here to see our rates for services.

Resolute Counseling does offer Telebehavioral Health services through our client portal (TherapyPortal).  Most Telehealth services are now being covered by insurance plans.

Please call our office or inquire through our contact form to see about payment options and to discuss your problem of concern.

Format of the Sessions

Mental Health Assessment (Initial Intake Session 45-60 minutes): A personalized initial assessment is a valuable tool that allows the client to share a history and the licensed mental health therapist to recommend a course of treatment unique to the client.

Psychiatric Evaluation (Up to 60 minutes): A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation is completed by a licensed medical provider to diagnose emotional, behavioral, or developmental disorders. An evaluation of a child, adolescent, or adult is made based on behaviors present and concerning physical, genetic, environmental, social, cognitive (thinking), emotional, and educational parts that may be affected as a result of these behaviors.

Medication Management (15-30 minutes): Medication management is a vital part of proper psychiatric care, as not all medications will be received or tolerated by patients in the same way. Monitoring medications, their side effects and their possible interactions with other medications is critical. A big part of what psychiatric providers do is provide psychiatric medication management and assessment.

Individual/Couples/Family (45-60 minutes): Counseling sessions can be comprised of one person or multiple people ages 14 and above. Couples counseling can consist of engaged or dating couples, married couples seeking to enrich their marriage, or those who are in the midst of a crisis. Family counseling can include teens, and extended family as desired.

Phone and Video Counseling (45-60 minutes): Phone and video counseling can be helpful either between sessions or as needed for an additional resource. Also for those clients who desire to continue counseling or begin counseling and who live out of the area.  Resolute Counseling uses a HIPAA-compliant Telehealth software program through our online portal.
